A weak battery and a charging warning while driving are not the same situation. Record the warning lights, messages and affected equipment before deciding to buy a battery or alternator.

Practices to avoid
Do not disconnect a battery terminal while the engine is running or fit a higher-rated fuse to bypass a problem. Leave high-voltage systems to a specialist.
Match the source to the vehicle version
Start with the Chevrolet Egypt library when servicing a vehicle for the Egyptian market. If an older Aveo model is not listed, ask the dealer for the manual matching the VIN; a US-market vehicle manual is not automatically a substitute.
Include the model, model year, original market and engine or transmission code in the inspection request. Do not publish the complete VIN in public comments; provide it to the appropriate organisation when needed.
